Why It Matters

What Learning Noorani Qaida Properly Does for Your Child

Noorani Qaida is not just the first step — it is the step that determines everything that comes after. Getting it right from the start makes the entire Quran journey smoother, faster, and more joyful.

🏗️
The Foundation That Never Needs Fixing

A child who masters Noorani Qaida never struggles with Quran reading. Every letter correct, every vowel clear — removing every obstacle before it appears and setting your child up for a lifetime of confident recitation.

🎯
Correct Pronunciation from Day One

Arabic pronunciation is built in the earliest lessons — not corrected years later. Children who learn Noorani Qaida properly never develop the bad habits that cause pain and embarrassment throughout their Quran journey.

👦
Designed for the Youngest Learners

The Noorani Qaida method was specifically designed for non-Arabic speakers and very young children — gradual, visual, and built around how children naturally absorb language. Our teachers are specialists in teaching ages 4 and above.

⏱️
Complete in Just 3–6 Months

A child taking 3 classes per week typically completes full Noorani Qaida in 3–6 months — then moves directly into Quran reading with total confidence. Every week of progress is visible and celebrated.

🎉
Pride and Confidence Every Week

Children who complete Noorani Qaida carry real pride. They can point to something they have achieved — a foundation built with effort. That confidence carries forward into every stage of their Quran learning journey.

🛤️
A Direct Path to the Full Quran

Upon completing Noorani Qaida, your child transitions smoothly into Quran Reading — already equipped with everything they need. Many families continue with Tajweed alongside reading. The entire journey flows naturally from this starting point.

Our Method

How We Teach Noorani Qaida — The IqraExpert Way

Our teaching system is built on decades of proven methodology — combined with modern child-friendly techniques that make every class something your child genuinely looks forward to.

📖 Phase 1 — Arabic Letters (Weeks 1–6)
  • All 28 Arabic letters introduced one group at a time
  • Each letter practised until perfectly recognised and sounded
  • Letter forms — isolated, beginning, middle, and end of word
  • Fun repetition games and visual aids to reinforce memory
  • Similar letters taught together to prevent confusion
  • Short daily homework to practise between classes
🎵 Phase 2 — Vowels and Marks (Weeks 6–14)
  • Short vowels — fatha (a), kasra (i), damma (u)
  • Long vowels — alif madd, waw madd, ya madd
  • Tanween — the doubled endings (an, in, un)
  • Sukoon — the letter with no vowel sound
  • Shadda — the doubled consonant mark
  • Every mark practised with actual Quranic examples
🔗 Phase 3 — Joining and Reading (Weeks 14–24)
  • Joining two letters with vowels into syllables
  • Three-letter combinations — the building blocks of Quranic words
  • Madd rules — elongation in letters and words
  • Reading short Quranic words and simple phrases
  • Practice with actual short surahs (An-Nas, Al-Ikhlas)
  • Graduation assessment — ready to begin Quran Reading
💛 Every Qaida Lesson Includes

FAQ

Noorani Qaida Questions Parents Ask

Can a 4-year-old really start Noorani Qaida? +
Yes — and 4 to 5 years old is actually one of the best ages to start. Children at this age have exceptional memory, are naturally curious about new sounds, and learn language with remarkable ease. Our teachers are specialists in working with very young children and make every class feel like play rather than study.
My child has started the Qaida before but stopped — can they restart? +
Absolutely. During the free trial class, the teacher assesses exactly what your child knows and picks up from the right point — no wasted time repeating what they know, no gaps left from before. Many children restart with us after incomplete attempts elsewhere and make rapid progress.
How many classes per week does my child need? +
We recommend a minimum of 3 classes per week for meaningful, consistent progress. Children who attend 5 classes per week typically complete the full Noorani Qaida in 3 months. Daily practice at home between classes — even just 5 minutes — makes a very significant difference in how quickly children progress.
What comes after Noorani Qaida? +
After completing Noorani Qaida, your child moves directly into our Quran Reading course — beginning with Juz Amma and the shorter surahs. They will be fully prepared and the transition is smooth and natural. Many families also add Tajweed at this stage to build correct recitation habits from the very start of Quran reading.
Can I sit in and watch my child’s Qaida lesson? +
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Many parents find it helpful to observe so they can support practice at home. Knowing exactly what your child is working on makes you a far more effective practice partner. Parents are welcome to attend any class at any time with no prior notice required.
